Our classic stripe fabric doorstop features sandy beige and white stripes and is sure to add a subtle coastal vibe to your home. It's handcrafted with heavy furnishing cotton and finished with a rustic jute loop. At just under 2 kg it's heavy enough to be useful but easy enough to move around, what's more it won't damage your doors or toes, as it's sand filled.

Will this doorstop work for my door?

You can test the weight required for your door by placing a known weight, such as a bag(s) of sugar or rice against it. For reference, my filled doorstops weigh in at a touch under 2 kg - approximately 1.95 kg. If you need something a bit heavier, my unfilled doorstops can hold between 2.5 and 3 kg.

What are the doorstops made with?

Furnishing weight fabric lined with calico for added strength and filled with sand. They are 'sandbag' style doorstops.

What are the benefits of a fabric doorstop v wooden or concrete?

This doorstop won’t damage your doors (or toes!) if it is accidentally dropped or knocks against the door. This also makes it child safe!

Can it be used outdoors?

These doorstops are suitable for indoor use only
